Hans York is a versatile composer, musician, and producer specialising in TV, film, and media. Since 2019, he has captivated audiences worldwide with his evocative scores, earning placements on major networks across the United States, Europe, and South America. Born into a musical family in 1960s Germany, Hans York's musical journey began with piano and guitar. Influenced by his grandmother's love for Chopin and Brahms, and his uncle's jazz explorations featuring luminaries like Miles Davis and Bill Evans, Hans delved into the electrifying anthems of rock legends like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, alongside the soulful grooves of Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire.

In the late 1980s, Hans moved to Rio de Janeiro, immersing himself in the infectious rhythms of Brazilian music with artists such as Milton Nascimento and Djavan. Returning to Germany, he infused his music with the vibrant pulse of Brazil.
