Heather Fenoughty is a UK composer for film and theatre. In 2019 she scored the animated feature 'StarDog and TurboCat' starring Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy, and before that composed music for the 4 part year-long theatre epic ‘Flood’ for Hull European City of Culture, part of which appeared on BBC2 in the UK.

Her television credits include scores for several feature films, documentaries, animations and short films broadcast on the BBC and ITV networks. She has worked as composer, sound designer, sound editor, music supervisor and sound mentor for over a hundred short films. Her commercial credits include adverts for Nissan and CITV, and her production library music has featured on The Daily Show, CNN and CBS News.

Her theatre music has played internationally in many productions including, 'Pandemic' (Singapore Arts Festival, 2012); 'Terre Haute', starring Arthur Darvill (2006 in the UK West End and off New York's Broadway and with 'Punchdrunk' at Sundance Theatre Lab (2008). Other notable credits include 'Beyond The Front Line' (2009) featuring Chris Eccleston, 'Helium' (2008) starring Patrick Stewart, and 'Anthology' (2010) starring David Morrissey.

In the UK, her theatre sound and music has played at The Barbican, The Almeida, The V&A, York Theatre Royal, The West Yorkshire Playhouse, and in her hometown of Sheffield at 'The Crucible'.

Heather plays violin and composes a wide variety of styles of orchestral, acoustic and electronic music, usually with a very cinematic flair.
