Jodi Phillis

Jodi is a multi-ARIA nominated singer songwriter and composer who first made her mark on the Australian cultural landscape with alt-rock band 'The Clouds' before recording five highly acclaimed solo albums. For the past 20 years, Jodi has forged a parallel career composing for the screen and stage, with her highly original sense of melody and harmony, gorgeous vocals and her default rock, pop and folk sensibilities.

With a Graduate Certificate from AFTRS, Jodi has composed for television, including 'Bill Grainger’s Cooking Show', 'Toybox', 'New McDonald’s Farm' and TVCs for AGL and St George Bank. Jodi composed the feature film 'Convict' plus numerous short films and documentaries. In 2017 Jodi created orchestral scores for the 'Seven Stories' dance production which premiered at Sydney's Vivid Festival and more recently for 'Encounter' for Sydney Festival 2020.

Musically Jodi is and all round powerhouse, exploring unorthodox instrumental and vocal palettes to create beautiful aural aesthetics across a wide range of genres.
