Joel has worked on a wide variety of film projects, from shorts to features, documentaries to dramas. His work has been screened internationally and within Australia, appearing on ABC TV, SBS and commercial networks, as well as at festivals including the Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Dungog, St Kilda and Flickerfest. Using his boutique collection of acoustic instruments and analogue synthesizers alongside cutting edge digital techniques, Joel writes music that complements the emotional essence of each story.

As a producer, musician and songwriter, Joel’s work has been played on triple j, FBi and ABC radio as well as featured in TV shows and commercials. Having been involved in many bands over the years, Joel is currently a member of the burgeoning indie pop group Hollow States.
